The top bar
The top bar (right) holds the suite-wide controls, the same in every product.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Menu (☰) | Open navigation — show/hide the sidebar. |
| Launcher | VNClagoon — the app launcher (open VNClagoon Portal, VNCfluid, Apps). |
| Appearance → Theme | Pick the theme family (Sovereign, Civic, Kubernaut or B-safe). |
| Appearance → Mode | System, Light or Dark. |
| Keyboard shortcuts | The shortcut reference. |
| Notifications | The bell (below). |
| Account | The shared account control — Change picture, Sign out. |
The Assistant is a floating control in the corner of the page, not part of the top bar — see The assistant.
The footer line Directory connected · VNCdirectory · people & org units confirms the connection to the directory.
Your suite preferences
Section titled “Your suite preferences”Appearance and language are suite preferences, not per-app ones. When you pick a theme family and mode here, the choice is written through to your central preference, so it sticks on every screen and in every other product — and it survives a reload. Your language is owned by the same central preference and is applied when VNCworkflow loads.
The Account control is the shared account control: the same avatar (and the same Sign out) in every product. Sign out ends the shared session for the whole suite — see Sign in once, sign out once.
