Install VNCboard as an app
VNCboard installs like a normal app — from the browser, with no download, no installer and no app store. Installed, it opens in its own window and keeps the app shell on your device so it can start even when the connection drops.
Install it
Section titled “Install it”Open VNCboard in a supported browser, then install it:
- Desktop — in the address bar look for the Install icon (or the browser menu → Install this app / Add to dock). Confirm.
- Phone or tablet — browser menu → Add to Home screen. Confirm.
The app is added to your dock, taskbar or home screen and opens in its own window.
What works offline
Section titled “What works offline”- The app shell is available offline, so VNCboard opens without a connection.
- If a page genuinely needs the network and it is unreachable, you get a short “You’re offline” screen with a Try again button — and it reconnects automatically once you are back online.
- Being offline is not a sign-out: you are not asked to log in again because the network dropped.
Updates
Section titled “Updates”There is nothing to update by hand. The installed app picks up the latest version the next time it reaches the suite; you never reinstall.
