Product names in your cell
VNCfluid is one app that runs on every cell. The names you see in the app rail, the portlet catalog groups and the board’s wordmark are the display names configured for your cell — not names baked into the app.
So the same product can read differently from one organisation to another. For example, a cell may label the contacts product SRC Contacts where another shows VNCcontacts, and the shell’s own wordmark follows your cell’s brand.
What this means for you
Section titled “What this means for you”- Nothing changes in what you can do. A renamed product is the same product; only the label differs.
- Links still go to the right place. Opening a product from the rail or a card uses your cell’s configured address, so a label never leads somewhere unexpected.
- The catalog groups follow the same names, so a group heading matches the product’s name in the rail.
Only labels change per cell — your data, your portlets and your layout are unaffected.
