Legacy and adjacent modules

This catalogue is separate from the VNClagoon user guide. It describes the whole module family — including legacy modules kept for reference (for example the calendar, which is now part of VNCmail) and adjacent components that are not VNClagoon products. For how-to guidance on the current suite, use the product sections in the sidebar.

VNClagoon is organised into three families and twenty-four modules. Communication carries the conversation, collaboration carries the work, and the core technologies carry identity, access and the platform itself. Every module runs on infrastructure your organization controls — on-premises or in a certified European data center.

Each module has its own page describing the value it delivers, its main capabilities, typical use, how it relates to its neighbours, and the roles that use it.

Communication Suite

Messages, video, email and telephony, operated on your own infrastructure.

Module	What it is
VNCchat und VNCvideo	Secure messages, group rooms and video meetings for the whole organization: one app for both.
VNCchannels	The team room and the knowledge hub in one: real-time discussion, structured topics and AI-supported search.
VNCmail	Sovereign enterprise email: a complete, cross-platform suite with email, calendar, contacts and a sovereign AI assistant.
VNCgroupware	The groupware bundle: VNCmail (with its calendar), VNCcontacts and VNCfiles under one name.
VNCcontacts	The suite address book and leading system for external contacts and companies: your own organization read-only from the directory, plus consent, sharing and duplicate hygiene.
VNCmcb	Multi Conference Board: plan, run and manage parallel online meetings from one dashboard, building on VNCvideo.
VNCiom	Chat federation: secure, distributed messages between organizations.

Collaboration Suite

Projects, tasks, files, calendars and CRM: shared work with a gap-free audit trail.

VNCfluid	The fluid workspace shell of the suite: every product as a living portlet on a board you arrange yourself, one session across the suite, personal spaces and shared workspaces.
VNCproject	Project management that turns conversations into results.
VNCtask	Capture tasks in seconds and get the work done: subtasks, dependencies, recurrence and time tracking, the whole team in view, on web and mobile, online or offline.
Calendars in VNCmail	The calendar of the mail suite: shared calendars, invitations and RSVPs, mutual free/busy times, recurring events, resource booking and tasks, in one place and on open standards.
VNCcrm	The revenue workspace: capture leads, run a visual pipeline, forecast, with an AI assistant, on your own infrastructure.
VNCprm	The entire partner programme from one portal: deal registration, lead distribution, marketing funds, training and Partner Business Acceleration.
VNCfiles	The shared file core of the suite: a managed registry, one permission model and built-in governance.
VNCoffice	Enterprise-hardened office suite with long-term multi-platform support, online and desktop.
Collabora or ONLYOFFICE	The two office editors that VNCoffice embeds.
VNCworkflow	The template and approval engine of the suite: model a route of stations once and run every request through it, with role-based forwarding, parallel and conditional steps, delegation and an immutable audit trail.
