The help assistant
The Help panel answers how does this work? questions from the product documentation — not from guesswork. It searches the documented functionality and shows you the answer with its source, so you can verify it.
Open it
Section titled “Open it”Select the ? (Help) in the top-right rail. The panel opens with a search box and a few suggested questions (for example How do I create or move a unit? or How do access grants work?).
Ask a question
Section titled “Ask a question”Type your question and select Ask. The panel retrieves the documentation that best matches and shows the answer together with the document and section it came from. Select a source to read the full page. If nothing matches, the panel says so and suggests rewording.
The retrieval is semantic where the index supports it, and falls back to a plain keyword search.
No answer? Ask the assistant
Section titled “No answer? Ask the assistant”If the docs do not answer your question, use No answer? Ask Assistant to hand it to the built-in assistant, which can reason across the platform. The floating assistant (bottom-right) is the same helper and is grounded on this product’s documentation.
Choose where the answer comes from
Section titled “Choose where the answer comes from”Next to the assistant’s source you can pick:
- Server — the answer is grounded in the product documentation, computed by the platform. This is the default.
- A local model on your own computer — the question and the answer stay on your machine; nothing is sent away. This requires a compatible local model to be running on your computer; if none is reachable, the panel tells you and you can switch back to Server.
Use the local option when a question touches anything you would rather not send off your device.
