Create a media topic

The Media topic type is for posts that are mostly images and video — a gallery with a cover and a video.

Steps

1. Create a topic and choose the Media type.
2. In Images, select + Add images to upload (or replace an image). Set the Cover with Set as cover.
3. Add a Video — paste a YouTube / Vimeo URL, or Upload video…. Remove a file with its delete action (Remove this file?).
4. Publish (or Save draft).

Reading it

The media topic shows the Cover and a gallery you move through with Previous / Next. Uploaded videos are attached to the topic (n uploaded videos attached).

Transcript and translation

When a media topic carries a video, VNCchannels can transcribe it automatically — the spoken words become a Transcript panel below the video and are searchable text on the topic. The transcript can also be translated into German, French, Italian or English: open the Transcript panel and pick a language from the selector.
