Signing in and single sign-out

VNCproject uses the suite’s single sign-on. You sign in once — usually at the launchpad — and every VNClagoon product, including VNCproject, opens already signed in.

  • No second login. If you already signed in to the suite, opening VNCproject goes straight to your work; you are not asked to sign in again.
  • If you are not signed in, VNCproject starts the suite sign-in for you automatically rather than showing a dead page.

When you sign out from any VNClagoon product — or choose Sign out everywhere in the account menu — the shared session is ended for the whole suite. Every other product signs out too, so signing out is not product-local.

You can share or bookmark a link that opens a specific place in VNCproject, for example a project, a view, or a single work item:

  • ?project=<project> — open a project
  • ?view=<view> — open a specific view
  • ?item=<work-item> (or ?workitem=<work-item>) — open a work item’s panel

If you open such a link before signing in, the target is remembered and restored after the sign-in round-trip — you land on the record you linked to, not on the home page. This is why a notification or a shared link always takes you to the right place, even on a cold, signed-out browser.
