Projects in the suite knowledge graph
VNCproject is one contributor to the suite-wide knowledge graph — a shared, connected picture of the objects your organisation works with. Your work items, projects and goals are contributed to it, so they can be found and connected across the whole suite, not only inside VNCproject.
What gets contributed
Section titled “What gets contributed”Only the PM record surfaces:
- Work items (tasks, bugs, features and so on)
- Projects
- Goals
Each contribution links the record to the people, teams and tags around it, so a search can surface a work item when you look for a colleague, a team or a topic.
What this gives you
Section titled “What this gives you”- Findable across the suite. A work item, project or goal can appear in the suite-wide search and on a person’s Timeline, wherever you are in the suite — not just in VNCproject.
- Connected, not just listed. Because the graph links records to the people and tags near them, related items surface together.
Privacy and boundaries
Section titled “Privacy and boundaries”- Per tenant. A contribution belongs to your organisation only.
- Record surfaces only. Private attachments and raw message bodies are never contributed — only the work item, project and goal surfaces.
- Stays inside the suite. The entity extraction runs on the suite’s own inference; nothing about your projects is sent to an outside service.
- An enhancement, never a dependency. Contributing to the graph runs in the background: if the graph is unavailable, saving a work item, project or goal still works exactly as normal.
