The account menu (Own Avatar)
The avatar in the top-right corner is your single account control in VNCproject. It opens the Own Avatar menu — the same account menu every VNClagoon product shows, so it is always in the same place.
What the menu shows
Section titled “What the menu shows”-
Identity — your name, work email and organisation.

Presence — pick a state, exactly one at a time:
State When to use it Available Working and reachable. Busy Focused; avoid interruptions. Do not disturb Notifications are suppressed. Out of office Away for a period. Away Temporarily away from the keyboard. Offline Appear offline to colleagues. You can also set an optional status message and a reset-after time so a temporary state clears itself.

Settings drawer — the full preferences: Profile, Presence, Language, Appearance, Notifications, Security & sign-in, Privacy & AI, and a section per product you can use.

Account actions — Change picture, Change password, Language, Appearance, Sign out, and Sign out everywhere (ends your session on every device).
Behaviour
Section titled “Behaviour”- Language and appearance are set centrally. The Language and Appearance rows reflect the preference stored for you in the suite; changing one here applies it everywhere, not just in VNCproject.
- The appearance toggle always starts from what is currently on screen. The light/dark control reads the mode in use at that moment (including one another product set), so the first click always flips the mode - it never appears to do nothing because an older value was remembered.
- People pictures are the uploaded ones. Wherever the product shows a person (task and project members, comments, the person panel), it uses the picture that person uploaded in their account settings when there is one, and initials only when there is not.
- The avatar is the only account control — there is no separate profile menu in the product.
- Signing out ends your suite-wide session, so every VNClagoon product signs out too. See Signing in and single sign-out.
